The Power of Potty
We're in the middle of potty training. I figure every adult thus far has learned how, so there's no worry. And with that attitude, it's great fun — and probably the only time in life when it's ok for a fellow human to pee on the kitchen floor more than once, right? It seems to all be about generating enormous excitement around The Act. Libby Lee seems to love her potty — as a reading locale. Occasionally, the will be coinciding of sitting on the potty and — you know — actually peeing or something. Tonight when it happened, there was a family session of jubilant clapping. This was a multi ovation; every time Lucy and I would stop, Libby Lee would command: "Mommy, Daddy clap!" And we did. Because it's exciting when a fellow human learns how to pee into a specified location that's not their diaper.

laundry boy
Libby lee wakes up from nap and she's playing in the crib.
I hang some wet clothes to let her get awake, then talk to Lori while doing this, then once off the phone, I go to the crib and she smiles, pushes my arm away and says "go wash clothes." that's me, laundry boy.
